Here’s the Gist:

We want you to apply your relevant expertise as an electrical technician to a challenging work environment where you can make a real difference in the day-to-day operations of a high-tech electronics and semiconductor manufacturing operation. You will be able to solve complex problems with little supervision, allowing you to make decisions on how and when a project is completed.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Lighting maintenance- lamps, ballasts, fixture replacement etc.
  • Operation of Low and Medium voltage distribution equipment
  • Troubleshooting and repair of electrical issues related to VFD’s, MCC’s, motors, and controls
  • Replace devices such as breakers, switches, and receptacles

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

  • 5 years of experience as an electrical technician performing electrical repairs, upgrades, preventative maintenance tasks, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of the NFPA 70E, Standard for Electrical Safety in The Workplace
  • Familiarity with Lock-Out/Tag-Out programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; writing routine job reports and correspondence
  • Knowledge of standard electrical test equipment
  • Troubleshooting skills related to commercial and industrial electrical systems
  • Experience maintaining, repairing, and replacing electrical equipment, wiring, and fixtures
  • Ability to perform well as part of a cross functional team
  • Possess a valid US driver's license to operate motor vehicles
  • Possess a high school degree, GED, or equivalent
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and the work requires climbing ladders as well as long periods of standing or walking over hard concrete surfaces.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, or stretch to preform work when necessary.
