POSITION: Child Care Attendant - Part Time

DUTIES: * Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions. * Ensure all users are paid for by verifying the receipt or punching their card. * Ensure only authorized persons are picking up a child from the Kids Club area. * Keep an organized file of all required paperwork. * Provide quality activities for children in the Kids Club. * Interact and supervise the children in Kids Club continuously. * Provide clear direction and expectations to all users. * Ensure proper activities are being provided with the appropriate supervision. * Ensure the site is clean and is in compliance with state regulations for school age programs. * Dress appropriately. * Report to work at assigned time.

REQUIREMENTS: * Verifiable education or training in working with children in such areas as recreation, education, scouting, and/or 4-H. * Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. * Certified, or the ability to get certified, in CPR/First Aide/AED. * Experience in a childcare setting or as a teacher/school administrator/camp counselor. * Skill in operating a computer and relevant software programs. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

WAGE: $15.00 / Hour

SHIFTS: Weekday and some weekend daytime availability
