Assistant Project Coordinator
Summary:
The Assistant Project Coordinator provides comprehensive support to the Project Management team in the successful execution of solar & energy storage projects. This role involves a blend of administrative tasks, technical coordination, and customer interaction, ensuring projects progress smoothly from initiation to completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: -Assist the Lead Coordinator in scheduling project activities, including permits, installations and inspections. -Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on schedule. -Maintain organized project files, both physical and digital, ensuring all necessary documentation is readily available. -Prepare and distribute project-related correspondence, reports, and presentations. -Deliver project updates to your team, and others as required.
Technical Support: -Review and understand basic solar design plans and specifications - knowing this on day 1 is not a requirement. We offer extensive on the job training. -Assist in the preparation of permit applications and interconnection documents. -Coordinate with engineers and subcontractors to address questions and resolve issues. -Conduct site visits as needed.
Customer Service: -Serve as a point of contact for our amazing clients, address inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. -Maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. -Provide clients with project updates and ensure their satisfaction.
Administrative Support: -Assist Sales team with the preparation of proposals and contracts -Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills: -Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills -Proficient on a computer, generally tech savvy -Detail-oriented and enthusiastic -Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Physical Demands:
-Ability to spend extended periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. -Ability to conduct site visits, which may involve walking, climbing, and -working outdoors in various weather conditions.
