A local Cortez company is searching for a Delivery Driver who will have core responsibilities in delivery. You will be working independently and as part of a team with limited supervision at times. If you are meticulous and hard-working, you will be a great fit and important to our success.

You'll work internally with other staff and management to complete production goals on a daily and weekly basis. Your ability to complete projects within specifications and maintaining quality work is valued with this employer.

Delivery Drivers Responsibilities:

-Loading, transporting, and delivering materials to customers or businesses in a safe, timely manner. -Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied. -Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles. -Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients. -Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. -Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries. -Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

-High school diploma or equivalent. -Valid driver's license. -Clean driving record. -Experience preferred. -Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. -Strong time management and customer service skills. -Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods. -Attention to detail.

Starting Wage: $18-$20 per hour

Benefits: Accrued sick leave and optional medical insurance provided by Express Employment during probationary period. Full benefits possible once hired on by company.

Days and Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
