DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will ensure optimal nutritional status of residents by planning, implementing, and evaluating nutritional interventions. You will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments, as well as completing documentation and formal care plans for each resident, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Your duties will include writing and reviewing nutritional care plans, making dietetic recommendations aligned with physicians' orders and dietary needs, and planning or modifying standard and therapeutic menus to meet medical orders, nutritional standards, and quality. You will also consult with residents to provide guidance on diet restrictions and give special instructions to staff for preparing special diet foods.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours include 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will have weekends and holidays off. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirement: Certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the Commission on Registration of the American Dietetic Association; or proof of eligibility for such certification.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
