DESCRIPTION OF WORK As our Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary care & education to residents at the Hollidaysburg Veterans' Home. This includes, but is not limited to, medical diagnosis, treatment or prescription of medical therapeutics or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of a licensed physician.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 40 hours per week Flexible, 10 hour shifts available, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch Hours may vary to reflect facility need - on call as needed. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements: This position requires possession of a valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Post Employment Requirement: This position requires candidates to obtain and maintain valid CRNP Prescriptive Authority Approval to prescribe and dispense drugs as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. The selected candidate for this position must undergo a fingerprint-based records check to be in compliance with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS).  (if applicable) This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
