This is a part time opportunity but can be combined with another role to make a full-time opportunity for the right candidate! As a Program Coordinator for the Together for Youth Program, you will have the opportunity to coordinate outreach and educational opportunities supporting the LGBTQIA2S+ community. You will be responsible for creating and conducting educational materials and presentations and help to establish resources for youth, families, and allies. There are some evening and weekend outreach hours in collaboration with other LSS programs required. Preference given to member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. $500 Hiring Bonus: $250 to be paid after 3 months (and a minimum of 200 hours worked) and remaining $250 after 6 months (and a minimum of 400 hours worked). In order to be eligible and receive the hire bonus, the new hire must fulfill the scheduled shifts hired for, have completed required training, and meet performance expectations as determined by the supervisor and next level management. Job Requirements: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. One year of experience working with similar clientele and/or in a related field. A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and a Motor Vehicle Check. Computer literate. Strong written and oral communication and problem solving skills. Able to demonstrate professional boundaries. Training in the areas of crisis intervention, family dynamics, incest and chemical dependency. CPR/First Aid certification and medical administration training is desired; may be obtained after hire.
