About the Role: As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our plant's equipment in top condition, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. You'll work a 10-hour day, Monday-Thursday, with occasional on-call responsibilities and overtime. You will have the opportunity to work with a team with highly skilled and motivated team members and work on state-of-the-art equipment (paper machine is 1.5 years old) as well as in a mill that is rapidly expanding. This is an exciting time to join the team. Key Responsibilities: Repair and maintain mechanical equipment in the mill. Conduct preventive maintenance checks to troubleshoot equipment issues. Inspect and test equipment regularly. Enhance equipment reliability and product quality through monitoring and design improvements. Collaborate with teams to resolve equipment or process challenges. Manage equipment maintenance, including planning repairs and ordering parts. Update maintenance procedures and participate in training programs. Why Sofidel?
