NDCP IT Supply Chain Manager in Duluth, Georgia

Overview

Incumbent is responsible for managing and supporting ongoing enterprise-wide IT-related project activities, tickets and request and program accordingly to ensure they effectively support the organization’s current and future business needs and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team of IT supply chain analyst and sr. analyst and drive supply chain related project and support system.

  • Work with stakeholders to support business strategy, objectives, new technologies and roadmap.

  • Work with team to support the alignment of technology with the organization’s goals.

  • Work collaboratively with other IT team, cross-functional team, and vendor to design, develop, and test software that will improve the efficiency and reliability of our distribution center .

  • Participate in the design, build, validation, implementation, and maintenance of IT application systems and/or infrastructure solutions in support of our current, and future business needs.

  • Support internal communications related to change request, system upgrades and maintenance.

  • Communicate succinctly and clearly with cross-functional team leads and senior management regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities.

  • Involve in supporting IT and business by participating actively in Incidents, Service Request, Change Request and Reporting.

  • Manage flow documents, Job Aids, functional specifications, technical specs, create/execute test scripts as needed for projects or initiatives.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving problems to users on a 24- hours basis including weekend and holidays for business critical and system outages.

  • Not much travel needed but ready to travel on demand basis to warehouses for project deployments.

Qualifications

  • BS in Supply Chain Engineering or equivalent strongly desired.

  • Minimum 5 year of IT supply chain experience of driving projects, managing end to end deployment of supply chain related project.

  • Knowledge of supply chain process of warehouse management and transportation management.

  • Understanding of warehouse processes, methods of organizing the warehouse environment, and determining efficient inventory control procedures like storage of inventory, placement of inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and loading.

  • Knowledge of transportation operations within facility such as planning and scheduling, static routing, dynamic routes, and facility layout.

  • Willing to learn new tools and applications and take additional roles.

  • Must possess good analytical skills and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate proven technical and troubleshooting aptitudes and capabilities.

  • Experience in Manhattan Associate supply chain software is not mandatory but add on and preferred.

  • Knowledge of MS excel and MS words.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies tools is plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and address problems creatively.

  • Effective at developing internal / external relationships.

  • Professional level verbal and written communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and quality.
