Weyerhaeuser HIW Sales Service Manager in Duluth, Georgia

Weyerhaeuser’s Wood Products Distribution Organization is seeking a highly motivated team player with a desire to be an advocate for the customer to join our Home Improvement Warehouse (HIW) team! This role is responsible for transforming our HIW customer service by collaborating with HIW sales, distribution centers, the customers, and our technology team to consistently and accurately deliver our value proposition. The position reports to the Director of Commodities and HIW.

The position may be in Seattle or any of our nineteen distribution centers in the US. This role, as is the team’s, is a hybrid work location role with a combination of a three days’ work in the office and two from home per week

Accountabilities:

  • Advocate for the needs of our customers coast to coast- managing EDI orders, customer inquiries for special order sales, logistics, inventory availability, and integrating with The Home Depot and Lowe’s systems
  • Leading a growing team of nine, including hiring, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating job performance. This team is in different locations across the US.
  • Integrate a sales/customer service team with a staff sales support team for efficiency.
  • Assess talent, skills, & abilities to maximize effectiveness of each team member.
  • Maintain documented processes and procedures to efficiently deliver excellence.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives of processes.
  • Some account lead and account management responsibility

  • GED/HS Diploma, Four-year degree preferred

  • Four to seven years business experience
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, verbal & written.
  • Proven ability to learn to skillfully navigate varied sales operating systems for Weyerhaeuser as well as The Home Depot and Lowe’s
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other teams/ groups, and individuals across all levels within the organization.

What We Offer

Compensation:This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $94,977 - $142,465 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 10% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.* *

Retirement: Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
