As a roofing foreman, you will lead and manage a crew and coordinate the repair and installation of roofing projects while following company policies/procedures and required regulations.

Currently, most job sites are in Duchesne, UT, but will also have work in Roosevelt, UT, and Vernal, UT.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
• Oversee and manage crew and potential subcontractors
• Organize tools, machinery, materials, and supervise construction activities
• Remove old roofing systems
• Remove and clear the job site of any debris by putting debris in dumpsters or other designated areas
• Prepare roofs for the application of new roofing systems
• Repair, replace, and install roofing systems on residential homes and commercial buildings
• Utilize hand tools and a variety of power tools
• Measure and cut materials ensuring that materials are cut and trimmed to exact measurements
• Recognize materials and equipment that could be needed and ensure construction is executed accurately, following plans and specifications
• Maintain detailed and accurate site reports
• Communicate project progress to supervisors
• Ensure workers are qualified and well-informed about their roles and create assignments according to skill sets
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with all safe operating procedures
• Ensure the job site is completely cleaned up at the finish of the job

Requirements:

• Profound knowledge of roofing -- A minimum of 8 years of prior experience is required
• Accurately take measurements
• Able to perform physical labor for long periods
• Able to lift 50 pounds and climb up and down ladders to various heights regularly
• Follow OSHA regulations
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills
• Looking for hard-working, honest, and reliable roofing foremen who work well in a team
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
