Kinetics Noise Control (KNC), a Catalyst Acoustics Group Company, has extensive experience designing and manufacturing innovative products to control noise and vibration. Established in 1958, KNC now produces the industry's largest selection of products and solutions that span such markets as architectural interiors, industrial, building acoustics, HVAC, airflow, seismic and vibration, and specialty solutions and systems.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Leader. This role is pivotal in driving our sales efforts through various channels and preparing for a future transition into a general management position. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in channel sales, exceptional leadership skills and a strategic mindset. As a strong change agent, you will lead transformative initiatives that drive growth and innovation. This position is based in Dublin, OH and reports to the Group President.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company targets.
- Lead Sales Team: Manage and inspire a team of sales professionals including market segment leaders and channel partners to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in partner accounts while establishing beneficial agreements for mutual growth.
- Business Leadership: Work closely across functions as part of senior leadership team to proactively deliver on business targets.
- Monitor Performance: Track and analyze sales metrics, providing insights, improvement recommendations, and implementing actions to maximize performance.
- Forecasting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts that include volume, price, margin, and variance analysis as well as .
- Market Research: Identify new potential customers and market opportunities
- Collaborate with Departments: Work close with marketing and Product Development to ensure brand consistency and support sales efforts
- Customer Solutions: Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client needs.
- Transition to General Management: Develop skills and gain experience necessary for a future role in general management.
- Drive Change Initiatives: Lead and manage change initiatives to improve processes, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth.
- Champion Innovation: Deliver market leading product/solution leadership by seeking timely voice of customer, driving new products and Value Analysis Value Engineering programs, and encouraging creative solutions and new approaches to business challenges.
- Engage Stakeholders: Communicate the benefits of change initiatives to stakeholders and secure their buy-in.
- Manage Resistance: Identify and address resistance to change, ensuring smooth implementation of new strategies and processes.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ Proven work experience as a Channel Sales Manager, Sales Manager or similar senior sales roles
Education: BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field, advanced degree preferred
Skills:
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and team management abilities
Understanding of business P&L from Orders and Sales through EBITDA
Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics
Strategic planning and problem solving skills
Business acumen and proactive attitude
