Microbiology Lab Technician

Job Description

This position involves performing and documenting routine tasks related to sample processing and assays using written operating procedures, standard laboratory methods, and basic laboratory techniques. The role requires conducting specific procedures and tests both within and outside of the laboratory, using applied knowledge and practical skills gained from on-the-job experience. Responsibilities include modifying techniques to fit special needs, calculating data from routine tests, evaluating results for accuracy, and occasionally performing specialized and non-routine tests. Additional duties include maintaining records, coordinating work with other technicians and scientists, and supporting the laboratory department by performing and coordinating various laboratory processes.

Hours are 9:00am-5:30pm, Tues-Sat

Qualifications

• B.S. in a science field - new grads are welcome!

• Strong attention to detail

• Willing to work 5 hours of OT per week

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dublin, Ohio.
