NY1522382 Empire Paving of Schenectady, Inc. is seeking Truck Drivers to assist in the companys asphalt paving and material supply operations. Empire is an asphalt paving company performing top quality workmanship for all type of paving services throughout the Capital Region of New York.

This Truck Driver will be expected to haul material and equipment to various locations as directed throughout the season. Experience with mobilization of construction equipment is a plus. This individual shall hold a valid Class A CDL license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Candidate will be expected to be familiar and comply with all NYSDMV, OSHA and company regulations & safety policies. The driver is expected to have a thorough understanding of commercial vehicles and have the ability to drive multiple types of trucks. $17.50-$30/hr. based on experience.

A minimum of 5-8 years commercial driving experience is required, and asphalt industry experience is preferred. Candidate shall exhibit good attention to detail and safety and have the ability to follow through on orders and directives. Candidate must be able to perform physically strenuous activity on occasion. Knowledge of basic mechanic tools and their uses is required, and routine and accurate logs and reporting is a must.
