Goddard School Educational Director (Childcare Center Director) in Doylestown, Pennsylvania

An Educational Director at The Goddard School is responsible for managing and cultivating an exciting early learning program and curriculum. Additionally, the Educational Director will partner with the owner of the school in executing business related tasks.   All candidates who wish to be considered for the position of Educational Director must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education, elementary education or child development and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool.   An Educational Director must be well organized and able to handle many different obligations as well as but not limited to: * maintain accurate records regarding staff personnel files, State and Goddard required documents pertaining to annual visits. * provide effective training to faculty members in performing their responsibilities and complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and Goddard standards * communicate effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents * handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies * comply in all respects with all applicable laws and regulations relating to childcare.   The Educational Director position is a salaried position with bonus opportunities as well as the offered benefits below: * Simple IRA Plan (retirement option) * Generous PTO * Health, Dental and Vision Benefits * Ample professional development opportunities * Keystone STARS generous monetary compensation after 1yr employment   *We are an equal opportunity service provider.
