Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

EMCOR Mechanical Services has an immediate need for a Service Business Systems Analyst in Downers Grove, IL who will provide support primarily, but not limited to, COINS (Service Management, Dispatch, Work Order Billing, Job Costing and Accounting) software, as well as the related service mobile applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with a team to provide advanced support of existing and new software implementations related to the delivery of HVAC services, including but not limited to dispatch, work order management, billing, and service agreement/contract management.

• Works with a team to understand the business needs of operating companies and configure the software to best meet those needs, adhering to corporate standards as necessary.

• Conducts end user training both in-person and on a virtual platform, and creates end-user documentation to support training.

• Participates in troubleshooting and testing of software upgrades.

• Diagnoses issues reported by end-users and finds root cause and solutions, recording findings in the help desk ticket tracking software and reporting to software vendor.

• Assists in maintaining user logins, passwords, and access within the established security guidelines.

• Devises or modifies procedures to solve business problems considering computer systems capabilities and desired results.

• Frequently interacts and follows up with internal customers, support team, and software vendor(s) as required in problem-solving, testing, and implementations.

• Travel as required in support of the operating companies to gain a more intimate knowledge of business operations, assist in software implementations, and train end users.

• Transfers knowledge and trains users on best use of feature/functions available in supported applications.

Qualifications:

• Three (3+) years work experience with COINS or other HVAC Service industry related software

• Four (4) year college degree and/or equivalent work experience

• Experience supporting the some or all of the following modules: Service Management, Dispatch, Job Cost, AR, Billing, and Work Order Management.

• Strong Excel or similar experience required

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills, self motivated, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous tasks using good time management
