POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Project Coordinator is responsible for planning and overseeing diverse projects (DTV, CIP, BCP, Incremental Innovations) possibly across all lines of business and regions to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This role will analyze project requirements, formulate feasible and optimal solutions, develop recommendations, seek alignment, and manage the implementation of approved projects. The Sr. Project Coordinator leads cross-functional teams to achieve corporate objectives on small to medium sized projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead and manage assigned small to medium projects by utilizing appropriate program management tools to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, roles/responsibilities, budgets, priorities, and timing.

• Develop project plans using inputs from cross functional team members and confirms appropriate resources are assigned to the project.

• Secure stakeholder and team member alignment and implement effective simple change management strategies.

• Collaborate with team members and supporting resources to assign tasks, track progress, update schedules, manage priorities, track and manage budgets, and identify and mitigate risks for each assigned project.

• Foster teamwork, creativity and prudent risk taking to maximize value and efficiency.

• Communicate risks and constraints to appropriate levels of management. Take corrective actions when projects are not on track to meet scope, cost, or timing objectives.

• Develop partnerships and communicate frequently with teammates globally from Procurement, Quality, R&D, Finance, Global Supply Chain Planning, Marketing, Package Development, Safety and Regulatory, Operations, Legal and others to achieve project objectives.

• Travel may be required to effectively achieve goals, typically less than 10%, but may vary by project.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree (or experience in lieu of degree)

• 3-6 + years of experience in a related technical and/or business responsibility at the professional level

• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Project and other program management tools

• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) to effectively interface with cross functional organizations

• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 3 + years of project management experience

• 3 + years of experience in a consumer products (CPG) development and manufacturing environment

• Developed project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills preferred

The salary range for this position is $84,000 - 126,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
