STV has an immediate opening for a Structural Engineering Specialist (Buildings)to join our growing team in our Philadelphia, PA office as part of the Buildings Division. This is a great opportunity for an individual to work on exciting projects as part of a team of dedicated engineers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects, which will include tasks such as the design of a variety of new structures including buildings, transit stations, retaining walls, and other miscellaneous structures; analysis of existing structures; review and/or production of construction submittals; and review of contract plans for conformance with established design criteria.

This position also offers a flexible career path with opportunities to pursue a technical track with increasing design and leadership responsibilities or to grow into a project management role.

Responsibilities: Preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures. Developing structural and other drawings through Revit and AutoCAD software packages for buildings and other structures. Producing design related reports. Reviewing shop drawings and other construction submittals.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum of 0-5 years of experience in structural engineer design. Successful completion of the FE exam to earn your EIT certification is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation and familiarity of structural analysis software packages. Strong skills in structural analysis, steel and concrete design, good time management skills, a willing desire to learn and the ability to work in a team environment.

Compensation Range:$67,246.00 - $89,661.00
