JOB REQUIREMENTS: Associate CAD Designer - ASSOC005659 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Associate CAD Designer, you will be responsible for working with the Design team in the execution of assigned design projects to create original artwork for products and fabrications exclusive to Lands\' End. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor\'s legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c) Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and ability: * Work closely with Design in ascertaining their needs/vision for final output. * Redesign artwork by changing layouts, color, size, rotation or placement of elements, using CAD software. * Offer creative input in CAD development where appropriate to grow skills in creation of pattern/designs. * Create colorways for artwork using Lands\' End seasonal palettes. * Contribute to Design presentations when necessary, providing prints using Kaledo, Photoshop and or Illustrator. * Facilitate the communication of print/patterns to vendors. * Integrate hand drawings and computer skills to create prints for a specific category in design. * Fashion or Graphic Design degree and 3 to 5 experience in the CAD design. * Highly proficient in Kaledo. * Advanced skills in creating original artwork, repeats, scales, textures knits & weaves and color theory. * Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. * Strong organizational and follow up skills.
