County of Surry Accountability and Recovery Court Coordinator in Dobson, North Carolina

ECRUITMENT ANNOUNCEMENT The County of Surry is accepting applications for an Accountability and Recovery Court Coordinator that will report directly to the Surry County Superior Court Judges Office. Primary purpose of the position is to coordinate a full caseload of Accountability and Recovery Court clients. An employee in this class performs case management, receives and processes client referrals, coordinates referrals for assessments and other services, conducts intake interviews, conducts and/or assists with drug screenings, leads team during court staff meetings, provides reports to the court, and ensure compliance with court orders. The position will perform intensive case management with clients, refer clients to appropriate treatment providers and assist in creating and modifying treatment plans. Additional duties include preparing written reports and providing oral information at multi-disciplinary staff meetings. The position will enter detailed client data in a program system in a timely manner and maintain detailed record/file on all clients while also maintaining organized copies of court judgments and/or calendars in manual files. Clerical and administrative duties are required. The Accountability and Recovery Court Coordinator will serve as a liaison to agency partners such as adult probation officers, treatment providers, and social service agencies to monitor participant progress. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A minimum of a bachelors degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, criminal justice, or a related field is required. A minimum of five years of professional office experience managing human service or criminal justice clients and needs is desired.
