Job Title: Managing Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Managing Engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 7-10+ years of experience to lead our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will foster innovation, oversee projects from design to production, and manage a team of engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Engineering Department, providing guidance and support.

• Oversee project development, including prototyping, design, testing, and production.

• Foster innovation and implement custom build options.

• Collaborate with sales to ensure technical specifications are met.

• Prepare and review technical drawings.

• Utilize Autodesk Inventor/Vault or comparable software for design.

• Use MS Office and Teams for project management and communication.

• Plan and run projects efficiently, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget requirements.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.

• 7-10+ years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor/Vault or similar software.

• Strong skills in MS Office and Teams.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills for planning and running projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and team management abilities.

• Experience in fostering innovation and implementing custom solutions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in both office and field environments as needed.
