Plant Manager

Location: Dixon, California

Position Summary

Directs and coordinates quality production and assembly of float systems and precast, including delivery of all required materials to their final destination, in an efficient and cost-effective manner by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct and manageplantoperations for production, maintenance, inventory, quality and shipping and receiving. Coordinates activities through planning withmanagers and supervisors to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Reviews future and present projects, construction drawings, float calculations, and bills of material for types, quantities and specifications in order to: 1) create and prioritize manufacturing, assembly and shipping schedules; 2) coordinate the Purchasingof material for a timely delivery and in the most cost-effective manner; 3) ensure that materials meet all the specifications of the contract on time and under budget; and 4) ensure that theplantISO policies and procedures are upheld.
    • Interfaces with customers and ProjectManagers for scheduling, maintenance, and construction-related issues.
    • Directs the maintenance and operations of theplant.
    • Compiles, reviews and maintains operational reports to ensure that the quality and the completion schedule of the product is maintained according to specifications. This includes storage and retrieval of such data.
    • Projects all current projects through theplantvia production schedules. Coordinates production meets Construction Needs.
    • Manages production costs and product quality. Modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of the division.
    • Maintains theplantfacility to ensure efficient and safe operations, in compliance with good business practices, federal and state regulations, and BMIs safety program. Makes adjustments toplantfacilities and equipment when necessary. Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs. Incorporates shop floor organization andplantcleanliness amongplantpersonnel.
    • Carries out responsibilities to ensure the Company Safety Policies are upheld.
    • Recruits and maintains personnel to meet Production needs and requirements.

Salary range between $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 dependent upon experience. Employee may receive Incentive Bonus Pay based on eligibility rules.
