Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Reedley/Dinuba/Visalia

The Company:

Our client is a growing factory automation equipment supplier and world leader in produce labeling with over 30 years of experience. Committed to provide our customers with a complete, cost effective and viable produce labeling solution by integrating both labels and labeling equipment.

We are continuing to expand in the Central California Valley Territory and looking to add an experienced member to our service team in Reedley/Dinuba/Visalia, CA.

The Job:

Seeking a highly responsible and self-motivated Field Service Technician to service, test, troubleshoot, and install high speed produce labeling equipment used in the agricultural packing industry. Due to the nature of the agricultural packing industry, the field service technician is occasionally required to work weekends and second shifts on short notice. Additionally, the Field Service Technician is expected to be on-call for major equipment failures.

Travel is mostly confined to the Central California Valley territory. Service calls will require daily routes and availability to respond quickly to immediate and unplanned customer demands. Must have a clean driving record. Excellent communication skills are required.

Job Skills:

· Must be bilingual in Spanish and English

· Understanding of electronics/electrical assembly and wiring

· AC/DC wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting.

· Computer system integration.

· Installed production systems troubleshooting and repair

· On-site new systems installation

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

· Must be capable of using electromechanical tools.

· Experience with food packing sizers is a plus.

· Experience in agriculture industry is a plus

· Clean Driving History

Physical Demands:

The overall physical exertion of this position requires medium to heavy work.

May be required to lift up to 75lbs.

Working Environment:

Must be able to work more than 8 hours a day or 40 hours a workweek as required. Occasionally required to work weekends and second shifts on short notice. Pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high. Downturn in working requirement in produce offseasons.

Education and/or experience:

Associate Electrical Technology Degree, or equivalent years of field service experience
