Dextech Industrial Electrician in Dexter, Michigan

Job description

Dextech, a Tier 1 automotive supplier located west of Ann Arbor, MI has immediate openings for for Industrial Electricians. The primary responsibility is to maintain and install industrial equipment.

Essential requirements include:

  • Reading and interpreting specifications and blueprints.
  • Experience in industrial motor controls and control circuits.
  • Experience in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and using test equipment.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics and their integration to electrical controls.
  • Installing and repairing conduit, wire, and fixtures per current NEC code.
  • Needs to be self-disciplined, self-motivated, organized and committed to continuous improvement.
  • State Journeyman Electrician License is preferred. Equivalent experience in a manufacturing plant environment will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

 

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

     

Education:

 

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

     

Experience:

 

  • industrial motor controls and control circuits: 1 year (Required)
  • troubleshooting manufacturing equipment: 1 year (Required)
