Position Title: Prevention Education Coordinator

Job Summary: The Prevention Education Coordinator is a vital member of our domestic violence program, responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating prevention education initiatives aimed at raising awareness, promoting healthy relationships, and preventing domestic violence. This position requires a dedicated and skilled individual with expertise in prevention education, curriculum development, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Development:
  • Design, adapt, and implement evidence-based prevention education curricula, workshops, and presentations for diverse audiences, including youth, adults, professionals, and community groups.

``` - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs, assess priorities, and develop culturally responsive and inclusive programming.

  1. Facilitation and Training:
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive prevention education sessions, workshops, and training programs on topics such as domestic violence prevention, healthy relationships, consent, bystander intervention, and related issues.

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, community organizations, faith-based groups, businesses, and other stakeholders to promote awareness, engagement, and collaboration in prevention efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
