Dragados USA Utility Engineer in Detroit, Michigan

  • Monitor construction schedule, cost and quality to ensure project goals are met * Works with superintendent to direct and coordinate personnel to ensure project progresses safely, on schedule, within all quality standards, and within prescribed budget * Manage multiple subcontractors for utility work and coordinate with various disciplines to ensure project schedule is met * Reviews shop drawings and work plans of various sub-consultants and suppliers ensuring that compliance is met with all Project plans and specifications * Build and maintain relationships * Registered P.Eng in Michigan * Must be proficient in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). * Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and stakeholders effectively. * Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills * Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines. * Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. * Must be flexible, having the ability to adapt to changing needs and a commitment to continuous improvement. * Engineering degree or related field, Civil preferred * Minimum of 10 years of experience in coordinating and solving Utility works on highway improvement Projects * Minimum of 2 years of experience on 2 MDOT projects with significant Utility
