Aerotek Tooling Technician in Detroit, Michigan

Job Title: Tooling Technician

Job Description

  • We are looking to add a skilled Tooling Repair Technician to our team in the injection mold department

  • This role involves working with molds for automotive injection molding

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preventative maintenance on injection molds and production tool repair on molds with tonnages ranging from 900lbs to 2500 tons

  • The position involves working on 34 machines that produce interior components for the automotive industry

  • Perform preventative maintenance on injection molds

  • Perform hydraulic maintenance and repair, specifically in hydraulic ejection, hydraulic lines, and core signals in hydraulic cylinders

  • Troubleshoot and repair valve gates within molds.

  • Conduct standard electrical troubleshooting and repair up to 120v and 240v

  • Test OHM's and operate Volt meters to test connections to the mold

Shifts

Openings on 2nd shift and 3rd shift

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
