Henry Ford Health System Research Recruitment Coordinator- Full time - Research Design & Analysis in Detroit, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY:

  • Works under the supervision of the Project Manager and/or Principal Investigator on assigned studies and may function as the lead recruiter on a study, responsible for coordinating various procedural efforts.

  • Carries out research objectives by performing a variety of tasks - which include but is not limited to direct contact with potential and enrolled study participants, study enrollment and engagement events, data collection which includes support and completion of patient appointments.

  • Field work and administrative work will both be utilized in this role.

  • Strong customer service skills and critical thinking skills required.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience and an established track record.

  • Bachelor degree preferred.

  • Three (3) years of applicable experience; proven track record of working independently and implementing a clinical protocol or research study with limited direction.

  • Experience interacting and communicating with the general public to provide information and answer questions- does not have to be a clinical setting (but is preferred); Phlebotomy experience preferred; experience in research setting preferred.

  • Flexibility, team player with excellent communication and organizational skills, results-oriented and promotes teamwork and enthusiasm to meet program goals and enrollment metrics.
