Responsibilities

 

 

 

This is an entry level construction management position requiring the ability to:

 

Plan, develop, and coordinate on-site construction engineering activities for large, extensive construction projects.

 

Assist Field Superintendents and Project Engineers with project related technical and logistical functions and activities.  This includes subcontractor planning and administration, work assignments, etc.

 

Provide technical support for construction efforts, including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts.

 

Implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.

 

Interface with all on-site departments as required resolving problems, ensuring quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

 

 

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related program is preferred; or equivalent professional training and experience with high school diploma.

 

Knowledge of industrial construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc., required.  Prior construction site work, skilled trades or experience highly preferred.

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus demonstrated ability to participate on a team of varied disciplines.

 

Knowledge Microsoft Office and Primavera scheduling software is a plus.

 

Ability to travel.
