Drawing from primary and secondary research methods, the Market Research team plans and executes creative studies that explore current and potential market opportunities. Working closely with a cross functional team, our team members’ actionable insights and artifacts provide direction and confidence in critical business decisions across Rocket. As champions of our discipline, they foster a culture of research and continuous learning across the company.

About the Role

  • Work closely with other market researchers to plan and conduct market research studies within a given business area

  • Synthesize and share research findings with cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams

  • Visualize research into artifacts such as slide decks, one-pagers, and dashboards

  • Explore new business areas, research methods, and disciplines

  • Partner with researchers to identify and explore research opportunities across business areas.

  • Participate in the collaborative development and implementation of research that informs and inspires the evolution of the Rocket brand

  • Partner with researchers to design and conduct studies that leverage multiple research methods to aid in your professional growth as an intern

  • Gather and synthesize research findings into actionable insights and artifacts, packaged and delivered in accordance with audience needs and priorities

  • Collaborate across teams (creative, product, brand, external agencies) to build balanced, data-driven backlogs that capitalize on marketing opportunities and white space

About You

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in market research, business administration, sociology, statistics, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in market research and/or similar field

  • Master’s degree in market research, business administration, sociology, statistics, or related field

  • Demonstrated ability in survey design, instrumentation, and analysis

  • Knowledge of advanced quantitative research methods, such as conjoint analyses, key driver analyses, and price sensitivity meters

  • Knowledge of secondary research methods that explore market conditions, characteristics, trends, and competitive landscape

  • Understanding of the mortgage or financial services industry (fintech)
