Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

  • We are seeking a well-rounded Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background and solid electrical skills

  • You will work alongside two other technicians to ensure the plant and machinery operate smoothly

  • Your daily tasks will include both proactive preventive maintenance (PMs) and reactive maintenance, prioritizing any line or machine breakdowns

  • This role requires collaboration and teamwork to repair machines and keep production running efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on plant machinery

  • Update preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in the computer system

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

  • Support and collaborate with other technicians during machine breakdowns

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace pumps, motors, conveyors, and other production equipment

  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting up to 480V, including wires, relays, and sensors

  • Track and trace electrical issues using PLC troubleshooting techniques

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience, including troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing manufacturing/production equipment

  • Experience with pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, gears, motors, welding, plumbing/piping, drive shafts, sprockets, cams, chains, and oiling/greasing

  • 1+ year of electrical maintenance experience, including blue print reading, relay/PLC troubleshooting, and electrical troubleshooting

  • Positive attitude and team player mindset

  • Basic computer skills for reporting maintenance activities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $35.00/hr.
