*JOB SUMMARY: *Leads, supervises and provides on-going guidance and support to the Youth Services Case Management Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Works closely with Youth Services Managers to carry out deliverables for federal, state and local funded Youth Workforce Readiness Program. 
  2. Contributes to the design of operational strategy of program. Assists in the development and implementation of the program goals, systems, policies, and procedures.
  3. Provides direction to entire case management and job development teams, disseminates program information and conducts trainings, while working between both campus locations as necessary. 
  4. Oversees the hiring, training, supervision and performance evaluation of Case Managers (Career Coaches), Success Coaches and Employment Specialists for both locations.     
  5. Oversight of the Management Information Systems (MIS) input, Launchpad and quality assurance programming for the site, ensuring activities and other metrics are properly recorded in all systems. 
  6. Manages Xello, college and career readiness software, and ensures case management team are properly trained and working with participants on modules and stipends. 
  7. Explores and researches additional educational development resources. 
  8. Works closely with data team to ensure measures are in place to capture and share relevant programmatic data, both internally and externally.
  9. Collaborates with other program partners to organize projects and activities that will benefit the educational, physical and social development of youth. 
  10. Provides technical support and advice in all matters related to customer assessment, supportive services, and strategies that address the customer's removal of barriers to participation. 
  11. Assists in ensuring the program enrollment goals and other objectives are met as specified by funding sources and the organization. Reports to supervisor on program progress and matters of concern. 
  12. Meets with staff on a regular basis to discuss program participant progress, concerns or other related issues. 
  13. Conducts periodic reviews of case files, notes, individual service strategies and home visits.
  14. Compiles program statistics and prepares related performance and progress reports for management. 
  15. Provides positive leadership and direction for youth program staff and participants, utilizes trauma-informed care and person-centered supervisory techniques to address and model self-care and personal boundaries for staff and participants. 
  16. Contributes to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university (with major course work in social work or a related field preferred). 

Experience working with at-risk youth and youth agencies.

Two to four years of management experience in human services or related field preferred.   

Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish or English/Arabic preferred.

Computer skills necessary to effectively maintain a database and generate reports.
