Position Summary:

Interacts with patients/families in a caring and professional manner to schedule all

Infusion

Center

patient appointments. Schedules

Infusion

Center

patients’ appointments for other ambulatory services according to established guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedules and reschedulesInfusionCenterpatient appointments according to scheduling guidelines. Insures that patients received notification/calendar and understands appointment schedule.

  • Obtains and updates necessary demographic and related data according to policies and procedures.

  • Interacts with administration,InfusionCenterand Clinic staff to identify and problem solve complex scheduling issues.

  • Interacts with financial services staff to provide information needed to secure reimbursement

  • Proficient in computer program applications, knowledge, and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree,and/or scheduling experience required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of health care and/or customer service experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in computer program applications, knowledge, and skills.
