Position Overview: We are seeking an HR Generalist with at least 4 years of experience and HR management expertise. The preferred candidate will have a professional demeanor, maintain effective working relationships with both local and international colleagues and managers, and possess multi-state compliance experience. SHRM/PHR certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, ensuring fair and consistent administration of HR policies and procedures.

  • Develop and implement personnel policies for continuous improvement; prepare and maintain the employee handbook.

  • Partner and assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and job offers.

  • Plan, update, and conduct new employee orientation consistent with company core va lues.

  • Develop and implement strategies and action plans for LLYC's inclusion and diversity programs, always in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.

  • Manage employee personnel files and coordinate Internship Programs.

  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions during the due diligence phase and provide additional support as needed.

  • Oversee offboarding procedures, including exit interviews and employee separation notices; analyze exit survey data and provide recommendations.

  • Support the company’s total rewards strategy.

  • Design, innovate, and oversee employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys.

  • Support learning and development initiatives.

  • Manage and administer policies, communications, space management, new hire setup, and administrative tasks.

  • Serve as b ackup for payroll processing.

  • Support and update monthly reports requested by the finance area or by the local, regional or global management team.

  • Provide immigration support for visas and assist with mobility and relocation processes to the USA.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Travel Requirements:

  • Approximately 10-20%.

    Qualifications:

  • Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws.

  • Broad knowledge of HR practices and procedures.

  • Self-starter with the initiative to independently identify needs and recommend best-practice solutions.

  • Intermediate-to-advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Professional and personable demeanor with the ability to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience:

  • 4+ years of generalist experience in Human Resources with HR management/lead experience.

  • Proven experience in organizing and directing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience in the communication or advertising industry and agency work environments is a plus.

  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.

  • SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred.

    Physical Demands:

  • Ability to hear, understand, and communicate verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to read and check documents for accuracy.

  • Proficiency in using a keyboard and computer monitor.

  • Adherence to strict deadlines.

  • Ability to walk, sit, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds.
