Facility HVAC Technician - Detroit, MI

Job Description

Candidates will be expected to perform service work and repairs on HVAC equipment. The role requires troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, then making the necessary repairs. Work will be performed on rooftops and within the facility. Candidates will be climbing ladders and using lifts. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service work and repairs on HVAC equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC issues.

  • Make necessary repairs to HVAC systems.

  • Work on rooftops and within the facility.

  • Climb ladders and use lifts.

Essential Skills

  • Commercial or Industrial HVAC Service Experience.

  • State Certified Journeyman card holder or 8 years of experience (with certified letters).

  • Troubleshooting and making repairs.

  • Experience working on RTUs, chillers, water towers or cooling towers, VFDs, boilers.

  • EPA Certified.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with mechanical, blueprint reading, installation.

  • Knowledge of chilled water systems, cooling towers, boiler repair, preventive maintenance, air conditioning, sheet metal.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
