Henry Ford Health System Express Services Partner - Fulltime - Midnights (11p-7:30a) - Detroit in Detroit, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, responsible for performing common routine and non-routine transport, repair, and product movement functions. Performs a variety of tasks such as pick up and delivery of medical and non-medical equipment and supplies, cleaning, charging and sanitation of equipment, assisting in patient charges for equipment. Performs wheelchair and stretcher transport. Participates in waste and linen handling throughout the facility.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

  • One to two (1-2) years of related experience.

  • Possess excellent organizational skills, interpersonal and customer relation skills.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively.

  • Must maintain confidentiality of patient and unit-care data per HIPPA regulations.

  • After initial training must be able to consistently demonstrate proper lifting techniques.

  • After initial training, must be able to comprehend and utilize technology associated with supply/transport/discharge management software/systems.
