Community Engagement Coordinator

The* Detroit Regional Chamber* in Detroit, MI is looking to hire a talented individual for a full time Community Engagement Coordinator working to build awareness about the Detroit Promise and Detroit Reconnect. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

The person in this role will be passionate about education and will posses a personable demeanor. The Community Engagement Coorinator is responsible for a multi-generational approach in engaging and conducting outreach to build awareness about the Detroit Promise and Detroit Reconnect. In partnership with other staff, you will work together to increase the number of individuals pursuing a post-secondary education. The role will primarily be in the field, traveling to events, and engaging with community-based organizations throughout Metro Detroit. You will interact with and provide exceptional customer service to diverse audiences. You will build and maintain multiple relationships and manage multiple projects.
