Actalent Civil Engineer (Relocation To Lexington, KY) in Detroit, Michigan

Job Title: Senior Civil EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading and managing civil engineering projects. They will possess a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, as well as proficiency in a variety of civil engineering design software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion.

  • Design commercial and industrial facilities, including geometry, utilities, grading, and drainage.

  • Utilize civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrology Studio (or similar software), and HEC-RAS.

  • Ensure projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project success.

  • Prepare and present project reports and documentation.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Minimum of ten years of related experience.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering design software.

  • Experience in site development and stormwater management.

  • Strong project management and leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

The work environment includes office locations in Lexington, KY or Louisville, KY. The position offers the opportunity to work for a successful company with plenty of growth potential within the organization.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

The out-of-pocket-maximums work the same way. Deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums are calculated on a planyear basis, January 1 - December 31. Once enrolled, you can visit anthem to access claims payments, physiciandirectories, ID cards and inquire about eligibility. Dependent coverage can be obtained until the end of the month in whicha child turns 26.
