Summary This position is located at the Destin Army Recreation Area which is apart of Fort Moore Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR). Responsibilities Responsible for the maintenance, repair and condition of the MWR/Lodging facilities. Directs and supervises a small to medium size staff of employees in all phases of building/grounds maintenance. Screens work orders to determine whether or not work will be accomplished by assigned workforce or other activities. Inspects work during and upon completion. Maintains and reports status of work to management. Participates in feasibility studies for minor and or major construction. Develops preventive maintenance programs. Participates in budgeting for a maintenance program. Minimum Qualifications: Work experience performing related duties and knowledge of practices and procedures related to facilities maintenance and/or repair; material required and costs associated with a successful maintenance program. Highly Preferred Criteria: At least two (2) years of experience with general facility maintenance. At least one (1) year of experience in a supervisory position. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials: This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
