Actalent Electrical Construction Project Manager in Des Plaines, Illinois

Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

Manage the pipeline of commercial and multifamily projects. Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure projects are completed within budget and meet deadlines. Collaborate with office coordinators and field electricians. Utilize Excel and Word proficiently; training on Procore will be provided. Apply electrical expertise to 70-80% of project tasks. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and team members. Provide regular project updates to the owner and coordinate the work of 25-50 electricians in the field. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks. Develop and implement project plans and schedules. Manage procurement of electrical materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

  • 5-10 years of electrical project management experience in commercial and multifamily construction ranging from $100k-1M.

  • Ability to work within a 40-50 mile radius of Elk Grove Village.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.

  • Strong tenure at previous companies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.

  • Experience in site inspections and quality control.

  • Familiarity with Procore is a plus.

Work Environment

In-office/onsite. Work from home flexibility only in extenuating circumstances (i.e., illness, emergency, etc.).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $57.69/hr.
