Aerotek Welder in Des Moines, Iowa

Job Description

As a Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator, you will be building and welding a variety of structural steel products such as columns, beams, stairs, etc. according to the specifications provided in the blueprint. You will also be responsible for reviewing the quality of your own work. This role focuses on production welding for our intercompany group, involving numerous small piece weld projects. We are specifically looking for full fabricators that can cut, size, shape, bend the material, tack it into place as they build, and then finish off with welding.

Work Environment

This role operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday starting at 6am until the day's tasks are completed. The workday can vary between 8-10 hours, with no guaranteed stop time.
