With a focus on sales to our mid-market installed customer businesses, our AMO Sales team is seeking a Sales Manager with a successful background managing inside and outside sales representatives.

You will manage a hybrid team of 8-9 Account Management sales professionals in our AMO General Business vertical group. This role is based out of Denver, CO or Santa Monica, CA and comes with a commitment to be in person three times per week for collaboration and new-hire support.

More about the Opportunity:

  • Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment, you are responsible for managing a team of Sales driven Account Managers that serve our Mid-Market and Corporate spaces.

  • You are responsible for developing and managing the team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational quotas.

  • Teach, coach and mentor successful sales professionals to develop in their careers.

  • Recruit, train, and coach the team in both sales strategy and NetSuite product knowledge.

  • Monitoring demand generation and sales activity and tracking the results.

  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the business applications.

About You:

  • You have at least 3 years of closing experience and/or sales management experience within SaaS/Technology sales and a desire to succeed.

  • A strong understanding of accounting solutions, business solutions, e-commerce, ERP, or CRM in a sales capacity is essential, as well as the ability to negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close a sale.

  • You are a regular on your company’s top producer’s list and have the stats to back it up.

  • You have strong leadership capabilities and experience in sales coaching and mentoring.

  • You are known for your tremendous work ethic, laser focus, passion, and dedication.

  • You enjoy learning technology and can translate that into value for prospects.

  • You’re curious, insightful, and perceptive.

  • You live in Austin or Santa Monica.

Responsibilities

Manages a team of OD prime sales representatives for a territory/region. Participates as a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Develops working relationships with license, consulting, education, and/or support field managers to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategic plans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions to maximize revenue with frequent guidance from the area manager or director. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and provides hiring recommendations to senior management. Handles escalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducts sales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, deal strategy development and trend analysis.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $147,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
