Job Summary:

The Deposit Operations Officer provides a professional and technical resource for all deposit-related functions as they pertain to product administration and support, new product development and new or upgraded services available to the bank.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

· Provides day-to-day support and back-up administration for all systems identified: IBS, TellerInsight, Exceptions Desktop, IBS Sales and Service Suite (DO, SRM, FTM), Onbase and any other system assigned.

· Provides a source for custom reports through Business Intelligence Center (BIC) for any bank personnel requesting information. Ensures that information provided is accurate and appropriate for the purpose intended and analyzes data as requested.

· Participates as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on any assigned projects. As the SME, makes recommendations to the team as to appropriate set up, processing and follow up on all projects. Gets all recommendations approved prior to communication to the project team. If recommendations are approved and implemented, communicates all changes to the Deposit Operations Manager for appropriate communication and training to appropriate staff. Also provides accurate communication to other areas that may be impacted by project changes so their processes and procedures can be updated accordingly and there is zero customer impact.

· Continually works to improve system functionality and new product development. This includes scrubs to the system when changes or enhancements include system changes that require a different set up/new fields, as well as keeping up to date on all appropriate FIS Bulletins.

· Consistently considers all the different factors before making a decision and gets all decisions approved prior to implementation.

· Builds and maintains a good positive relationship with stakeholders (i.e. Branch Administration, Treasury Management, etc.). Provides timely and accurate communication to them on issues and notifications of upcoming changes, outages, upgrades, etc.

· Supports management decisions by providing a solid, team management mentality and supporting decisions that are made outside of our control with a positive attitude to all stakeholders, Operations Services staff and other bank employees.

· Assists bank auditors with any reports on systems supported in Operations Services

· Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· At least five years of previous experience in Bank operations or deposit operations preferred

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

· Understanding of all bank operations, in particular Deposit Operations

· Understanding of financial institutions, payment processing flows and the financial networks for processing

· Ability to be a valued member of a team for project and product development

· Knowledge of the FIS system, including DO/SRM Administration, TellerInsight Administration, IBS Insight, Exceptions Desktop, IBS Bank Control, FIS Mass Exchange, and Onbase

· Knowledge of BIC or other report writer software

· Understanding of Business Account Analysis (XAA)

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $56,000 - $70,000
