Job Summary:

The Commercial Loan Servicing Manager will provide a chance to influence with a focus on leadership, excellence, teamwork, collaboration, problem solving, and a broad understanding of how all sub-teams, as well as business partners within Commercial Lending, affect each other. This role will be responsible for fostering and creating a positive work environment through real time observation and specific, constructive and actionable feedback to all employees. The person in this role will need to establish themselves as an engaging and inclusive leader, with ownership for the team’s ability to maximize productivity by direct collaboration with the Sr. Commercial Loan Servicing Manager & growth and development in their current role. A commitment to working across all teams to develop a successful line of communication, allowing for teams to be kept informed and coordinated across functions, is key and the ability to find root causes of inefficiencies, optimizations and current processes in a team members day-to-day function is of top priority.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

· Establishes measurable and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards for the Commercial Loan Servicing team, by which individuals will be rated on for yearly goals

o Conducts all 1:1's, touchpoints and annual reviews for all staff

o Creates and maintains tracking for all conversations and discussions related to each individual employee

o Creates reports for work produced by each team and team member. This will include error tracking to identify areas of opportunities for improvement and growth

· Works with each employee to develop a Career Development Plan. This will include having impactful and productive conversations that relate directly to each employee’s desires, skills and weaknesses in an effort to create a development plan that is based on fulfilling the employee's wants and needs.

· Possesses knowledge of all team's overarching processes and procedures in order to be able to find inefficiencies and understand the concerns employees may communicate

o Works directly with Sr. Commercial Loan Servicing Manager to give input and insight on procedures of all teams

o Monitors the pipelines of each team and help guide the teams during busy times to ensure all items are completed in the stated time frames

· Coordinates training of new processes and procedures to ensure understanding and acceptance

o Consults with subject matter experts, as necessary, to carry out updates, train as needed and evaluate staffing capacity for workflow

o Works directly with the Sr. Commercial Loan Servicing Manager to make changes necessary for optimization, efficiencies and high-quality productivity

o Leads coordination, collaboration and integration of efforts among servicing staff and different areas of the bank to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes

· Researches and supports the organization in implementing innovative business practices that support the organizational culture

· Participates in the hiring and training of departmental staff

· Conducts workforce and strategic planning for the department

o Reviews and approves the implementation of organizational plans that support the Operations Strategic Plan

· Coordinates and leads all large group meetings

· Oversees the Commercial Loan Servicing budget

· Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

· Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred or a combination of education and experience

· At least six years of experience in Commercial Loan Operations or with Commercial Loan documentation

· At least three years of previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

· Must have a thorough knowledge of commercial loan operations, including SWAP, Participation/Syndication, and SBA loan processing. This includes a thorough knowledge of the bank's cores system (FIS IBS Insight), how it functions, and how it can be used to automate complex commercial loan processing.

· Must have a thorough understanding of commercial loan documentation for all types of loans processed at the bank, including but not limited to SWAP, Participation Sold, Participation Purchased, Syndications, Leases, Complex Commercial Real Estate, and business banking loans. This includes what is required to have a complete document package per all applicable regulations and credit policy.

· Must possess a general knowledge of the systems used by the Commercial Documentation and Imaging teams, including Laser Pro and Info Access

Must project a positive image of the organization to all employees, as well as internal and external customers, at all times

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $73,000 - $90,000
