Job Title: Vocational Evaluator Department: Center for Opportunity Rehabilitation and Employment Reports To: Workforce Development Program Manager Location: 1550 Dover Street, Lakewood, Colorado 80215 Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., some weekends and evenings FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $25 - $29 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week Updated: April 16, 2023 SUMMARY Vocational Evaluators provide vocational assessment, situational assessments, and work adjustment services for clients with disabilities using accepted vocational testing and work simulation methods in a classroom or employment setting. Develop vocational assessment strategies, prepare vocational evaluation reports and recommendations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes some or all of the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Administers and interprets various vocational assessment instruments based on referral source requests (i.e., interest surveys, aptitude testing, achievement testing, transferable skills analysis, work value inventories, etc. Compiles comprehensive reports to referral source summarizing vocational assessment results that incorporates transferable skills and current labor market information to provide realistic recommendations for employment. Administers and interprets work adjustment instruments and completes summary reports that identify work adjustment issues and lays out information necessary to implement a work adjustment program. Provides job readiness assessment and summary report that documents client's readiness to engage in vocational services and support needs that the client may have to successfully participate in vocational services. Completes vocational consultations as requested to consumers to assist consumers with identifying job goals. In providing billable services, it fulfils or exceeds expectations established by Bayaud Enterprises. Types and completes documentation in the format appropriate and acceptable to Bayaud Enterprises. Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies and demonstrates continued growth. Complete timely documentation and data entry in data management system. Attend department and company meetings as required. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS Understanding of employment challenges and barriers faced by people with disability, experiencing poverty and/or homelessness to obtain and retain employment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, grammar, and reasoning skills. Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information without breach. Ability to function positively in a demanding work environment, to demonstrate high flexibility, to respond to priorities and schedules that change frequently. Commitment to the potential of people to live a sustainable and fulfilling life regardless of their current situation or perceived limitations. Proficient Microsoft Office skills; especially Outlook, and Word. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or related field 2 years' experience working with individuals with various disabilities is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of participants, co-workers, and community partners. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Skill in analyzing information, prob ems, situations, practices, or procedures to: Define the problem or objective. Identify relevant concerns or factors. Identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships. Formulate logical and objective conclusions. Recognize alternatives and their implications.
