Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk for our operations based in Denver, Colorado. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be primarily responsible for preparing and analyzing payroll plans for our customers, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring accurate and timely calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed payroll plans for customers in accordance with their specific policies

• Collaborate with internal teams through various communication channels

• Analyze and reconcile any discrepancies between estimated leave benefits and actual pay

• Ensure the accurate calculation and display of personalized payroll plans on our dashboard

• Handle confidential information appropriately and with discretion

• Manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently, with a keen attention to deadlines

• Use advanced Excel functions and formulas for data analysis and management

• Provide support to leave specialists by preparing customized payroll plans

Requirements

• Possesses comprehensive experience in payroll management

• Proficient in performing financial reconciliations regularly

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with accounting software and systems

• Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

• Adheres to ethical standards and complies with company policies and procedures

• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
