The Sr Portfolio Manager contributes to T-Mobile's success by maintaining the Credit Risk department Enterprise Project Portfolio. This position will manage portfolio intake, impact assessment, prioritization, resource allocation, performance, budgeting and benefits realization processes and relationships with key business partners across the enterprise. This will include establishing relationships, collaboration, and consultative feedback with internal and external teams regarding project scope, impacts and business value with Directors and VPs. This role provides guidance and feedback in supporting the delivery of business benefits, ensures prioritization aligns with enterprise and departmental strategic initiatives, establishes and maintains effective relationships with all business sponsors/owners and key project stakeholders, partners closely with the Credit Risk COST team on budget reconciliation, monitors and controls initiative-level costs, and tracks and publishes the operational metrics to drive efficiencies and throughput of projects and programs.

Responsibilities: Portfolio and Roadmap Management Responsible for managing and sustaining the Credit Risk (CR) initiative portfolio and ensuring alignment with the overall roadmap. Regularly communicate updates and changes related to the CR initiatives to relevant parties. Partner with Team Lead (Scrum Master) in Quarterly Planning and Agile product maintenance. (JIRA, Planview, FIT, Orbit) Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners. Collaborate internally and cross-functionally to gain a deep understanding of the roadmap, identifying constraints and dependencies early on. Gather and compile necessary information to ensure alignment of Credit Risk representatives with enterprise projects. Maintain the launch calendar, ensuring visibility and awareness of all launch activities within the portfolio. Provide regular senior-level executive portfolio status updates and other periodic performance reports and metrics. Drive efficiencies and process improvements

Initiative Intakes, Assessments, and Assignment Receive and assess new CR initiatives. Assign initiatives to the appropriate CR teams based on expertise and capacity. Monitor for new Enterprise initiatives and assess their impact. Align CR resources to Enterprise Initiatives.

Budget Tracking and Communication Collaborate with the Credit Risk Operations Support Team (COST) for budget tracking. Ensure clear communication on initiative prioritization, constraints, and release schedules. Drive internal and cross-functional teams to forecast spend at project/program level. Partner with COST to oversee actual spend and portfolio burn rate; compiles periodic reports for senior leadership. Facilitate accounting treatment processes for all initiatives within our department and ensures appropriate accounting/financial coding is applied.

Governance and Reporting Contribute to corporate governance process by leading the SOX Signature Deck process under guidance of the COST compliance team. Establish and maintain process, continuous improvement, and documentation.

Initiative Management Deliver individual initiatives as needed based on team capacity and project urgency. Leads initiatives in accordance with the Credit Risk Enterprise Pod operational playbook.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Program M nagement or related area of study. MBA preferred.

Work Experience: 4-7 years of project management and/or portfolio leadership experience required. 4-7 years experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) required. Previous leadership of an enterprise project portfolio preferred. Experience with Portfolio Management principles required. Experience with waterfall, Agile Scrum, SAFe and hybrid methodologies required. Microsoft Office required. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities required. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks required. Consulting experience preferred. Strong organizational skills required.
