Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Denver, Colorado

Description We are looking for a diligent Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role is integral to our Finance team, focusing on performing intricate analysis in a rapidly changing business environment and heavily supporting forecasting & budgeting activities. The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide significant insights on our overall financial performance and data analyses to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze monthly and quarterly financials and metrics and understand drivers of variances compared to targets.

• Lead the annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting process by gathering business inputs, scrutinizing historical performance, updating inputs in forecasting software, and conducting detailed analysis of the results.

• Innovate and execute the process of consolidating data and preparing presentation materials for forecasts and the annual budget.

• Collaborate closely with the Finance leadership team to build the financial infrastructure to support the company’s current and future business requirements.

• Develop dynamic and automated reports, dashboards, and financial models for process optimizations and scale across the business.

• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations related to company performance and analyses around major financial drivers.

• Provide timely and insightful financial performance and metrics analysis on an ongoing basis.

• Participate as a Finance team stakeholder in various operational improvement projects.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to lead or provide support in reporting and ad-hoc analyses or data requests, especially in projects involving variance analysis/reporting and key metric reporting. Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial analyst role or similar capacity

• Proficient in business systems and data mining techniques

• High level of proficiency in Macros

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other Microsoft Office applications
