Senior ETL Developer, Business Intelligence

EXPERIENCE: Proficient in SQL Development. Understanding of Data Warehouse best practices and Data Warehousing concepts (Dimensions, Facts tables, surrogate keys, mapping, incremental loads, workflows, etc.). Informatica experience (6-12 months of experience minimum). Experience with Netezza would be a huge plus. Google Cloud experience is a plus (BigQuery, Snowflake). Python programming experience is a plus. Basic Unix experience needed. Unix scripting is a plus. Ability to analyze data, identify complex data patterns. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with accurate results. Strong communication and team building skills. Strong analysis skills required. Experience with complex enterprise business applications data discovery, data warehousing and relational database architecture concepts required.

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for designs, develops, tests, and documents database architecture, data model and implements ETL/ELT processes for use in data warehouse and business intelligence projects utilizing Informatica, Unix, Oracle, MS SQL and Netezza technologies. Design and lead the development of ER models and Database Schema such as Star and Snowflake Schema. Design and lead the implementation of application database architecture using various RDBMS platform (Oracle,MS SQL, Netezza). Design and lead the development of Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and other PL/SQL and T-SQL programs. Design and lead the development of UNIX scripts to support batch processes or data conversion. Optimize Queries, Stored Procedures, ETL process, and databases performance. Provide quality oversight for all activities related to data cleansing, data quality and data consolidation using standard data modeling methodologies and processes. Design and lead the development of ETL processes and Scheduled Jobs to support Data Integration Projects. Participate in the creation of User documentation and in providing training to the users. Develop and maintain knowledge and up-to-date expertise in evolving technologies. Co-ordinate QA and User Acceptance Testing. Document test plans. Support system implementation and roll-out and provide production support.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or foreign Degree Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field with 5 years of experience in the job or performing similar job duties.
