Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Senior Accountant situated in Denver, Colorado. This role provides an opportunity for those seeking to leverage their skills in the Investment Management industry, with a focus on account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage account reconciliation processes, ensuring all accounts are reconciled accurately and in a timely manner.

• Oversee balance sheet reconciliation, identifying any discrepancies and resolving them promptly.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of bank reconciliations.

• Ensure the general ledger is updated regularly and accurately.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data, making use of advanced Excel formulas where necessary.

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accounted for.

• Leverage experience with NetSuite, SAP, and Sage 100 to manage and analyze financial data.

• Manage cash reconciliations, ensuring all cash transactions are accurately recorded.

• Oversee daily reconciliation processes, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date.

• Manage expense reconciliation, ensuring all expenses are accurately accounted for and reconciled. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accountant role or similar within the investment management industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Experience with general ledger management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced Excel formulas

• Experience with month-end close procedures

• Knowledge of NetSuite, SAP, and Sage 100 accounting software

• Experience with cash reconciliations and daily reconciliation processes

• Proficient in expense reconciliation

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of current financial regulations and accounting principles.
